Low scores were abundant today with 6 players in the 70's. Art Campuzano squeeked out a win in the first flight with a net 62, Rich Hoag right behind him with a net 63. Linda Krammes had a net 64 in the second flight and Mell Cornwell second with net 69.  All in all, we had a beautiful day. The course was not in great shape so we played lift, clean and place. Had to keep reminding Chad that it does not include a tee. Lots of low scores which means the greens rolled pretty true. I witnessed Jack hole out a greenside bunker shot and Bob and Gale attempt to clear a six inch curb but were both one inch low. We had time to watch as there were as many as three groups on the tees at some points. Pat had an eagle on #1 coupled with the tournament low gross of 73.

The race for the Survivors Cup has started with Art Campuzano leading with 55 points, Rich Hoag second with 40 points , Jack Chunhacha with 30, Pat Hughes with 20, Paul Sullivan with 10, Rob Kay with 5, and Larry Neville with 5.
