Sold Out Survivors - SURVIVOR CUP

also to be know as the  ULTIMATE SURVIVOR

Top 8 golfers with the most Survivor points after the tournaments held from January through August. In case of ties, low net for the year will decide. The top 8 golfers will have their points set to zero and the playoffs will begin.

Points will be awarded in the playoffs as follows:

  • First - 80 points
  • Second - 70 points
  • Third - 60 points
  • Fourth -50 points
  • Fifth - 40 points
  • Sixth - 30 points
  • Seventh - 20 points
  • Eighth - 10 points

Tee assignments will be 5 thru 8 in the first group and 1 through 4 in the second group. The groups will change after the first round. 5th through 8th place will be in the first group, 1st through 4th in the second group.

Men will play from the Blue tees and ladies from the Red tees in both playoff rounds.

Winner wil be the player with the highest number of points at the finish of the second round.

In the case of a tie for the "ultimate survivor", the players will proceed to the first hole for a sudden death net playoff (with the starter's permission). The player(s) with the higher handicap(s) will receive strokes based on the difference between their handicap and the handicap of the player with the lowest index. If the event permission for a sudden death playoff cannot be obtained from the starter the standard cardoff rule (back 9, last 6 of back 9, last 3 of back nine, front nine, last 6 of front nine, last 3 of front nine) will apply.

Winnings will be as usual for the regular tournament (all players get money as usual regardless if they are in the final 8 playoff) but points will only be awarded to the 8 Cup participants. Closest to the pin points will also be awarded to the Cup players if they win it outright.
